For the first six seasons, the series takes place in the fictional town of Storybrooke, Maine, whose inhabitants are all fairy tale characters who were transported from the Enchanted Forest to the "real world" through a powerful curse obtained by Rumplestiltskin and released by the Queen . Bad Regina. After losing the memory of their lives in the Enchanted Forest, each character gained a new identity with jobs adapted to the modern world. The only hope for them is Emma Swan, daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, who was still transported to the real world before the curse was cast.
